A focus will be placed on treating adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse who have addictions, PTSD, and other co-occurring disorders. The treatment of mental illnesses and addiction will be presented and discussed from several different theoretical perspectives and treatment modalities, including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
